What Kind of Legacy Will You Be Leaving?

I have had LEGACY on my heart for a long time, but since the passing of our amazing former first Lady Barbara Bush it has been even more prevalent.
The concept of one life making a difference, one life being the glue, being the laughter, being the joy, whatever it is….just inspires me so much.
I LONG to live a life so pleasant and powerful to leave a legacy of love, of faith and of laughter and joy.
I am a bit of a nut and though, at times, I have felt apologetic about my sillyness, there are also days that I feel proud to be someone who can make others laugh.
It matters to me.
What matters most to me is that I somehow, in my own small way, make others feel loved, treasured, adored, and even make them laugh a little.
Although I lived with a great deal of negativity in my life, I was also blessed to have some amazing people who made me feel like I was the most special person.
My grandfather would always say to me “your grandpa loves you” those words melted my heart and made me feel so sweetly loved.
My dear Auntie who passed away last year was incredible to make me (and I am certain everyone else) feel as if I was the most amazing, most special, most treasured.
It is a gift to make people feel THAT loved and adored.
A gift I long to cultivate.
What kind of legacy do you long to leave?
Have you ever given it any thought?
Here’s the thing; if you do not have an end goal in mind you will never accomplish it (whatever IT is.) So if, like me, you hope to leave any kind of legacy you must be working on that RIGHT NOW. No matter your age, no matter your status, all that you need is your heart doing what it is meant to do, creating the legacy it is meant to live.
I encourage you, even challenge you, to think about this, let it simmer in your heart and mind about the legacy YOU are leaving….
I would love to hear your thoughts!!!
As always I send my love & blessings to you!
XO
